Your 2-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga begins with an early-morning pick-up from your accommodation. As you leave Marrakech, you will drive through the scenic High Atlas Mountains, stopping at beautiful spots along the way so you can take photos, enjoy the views, and stretch your legs.

After a tasty lunch, we will continue our drive towards the Sahara Desert, arriving in Merzouga by the afternoon. Here, a camel ride awaits to guide you through the Erg Chebbi dunes, pausing on a high dune to watch the amazing sunset over the desert.

You will then reach your Luxury camp, where a cozy private tent will be ready for you. After some rest, enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by a night around the campfire with traditional Berber drums under the starry sky.

Today, we recommend waking up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we will depart from the camp in a 4×4 car and drive back to Merzouga town. From here, we will begin our journey back to Marrakech, with a few relaxing stops along the way, including time for lunch.

One of the most special stops is at the panoramic viewpoint of the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a traditional mud-brick village and an iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. This amazing village has appeared in several well-known films and TV shows, such as Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones.

The Marrakech to  desert tour 2 days is a private experience, ensuring only the travelers who inquire will participate. No additional individuals will join the tour. Our primary focus is on providing high-quality, personalized experiences, which is why we primarily offer private tours.

Yes, the tent at the Luxury camp is private and has a private bathroom with hot running water.

The camel ride is around 45 minutes to 1.5 hours long, depending on which camp you are staying in.

If you prefer not to ride a camel, a 4×4 vehicle is available to transfer you and your luggage to and from the camp.

During the camel ride, you will only take what’s necessary for the ride.
The rest of your luggage will be transported by the camp’s 4×4 and will be waiting for you upon arrival.

The vehicle will be either an SUV 4×4 or a Minivan, both with A/C.
Vehicle details:
